What does makeup have to do with how we nourish our children? You could make a case that if we wear lipstick and kiss them, we want it to be non-toxic! The majority of those who follow us are women, so this one is for you in the case that it may be relevant. Please note that all colored text are links to click on! For those who are short on time — tallow lipstick is my recommendation for the very cleanest product I have found. Now for the full text of what I posted on our social media today:
I’ve received requests for recommendations for non-toxic makeup that may be on sale today. I don’t wear makeup every day and when I do it is minimal. I use products from these 2 brands at the moment:
1. I purchase from Omiana because of how clean it is – cleaner than even their competitors that I have tried. Products are 30% off today and they will ship it the United States for free – no code necessary.
They have titanium-oxide-free, mica-free, zinc oxide-free, tocopheryl acetate-free. boron nitride-free, paraben-free, talc-free, triclosan-free products. I avoid sun screen and have learned from this article published by the Weston A. Price Foundation that the non-nano found in many makeup and skincare products is not safe as is marketed to us.
This is a product I use to ‘spot’ conceal and recommend: redness concealer.
2. I also purchase from Stone & Spear, a tallow based company.
Theirs is the cleanest lipstick I have found. I have 2 colors – autumn and espresso: tallow lipstick
Lipstick: beef tallow, kaolin clay – for natural color, beeswax, coconut oil, natural peppermint essential oil in the scented version.
All products are on sale at present: code BFCM2025 for 20% off one-time order and 40% of subscriptions.
Let me know if you have any questions!
