I don’t have social media except for Instagram.
I think the art and practice of these wise traditions have been lost on the younger generations. Things that have been passed down or learned from a village have been forgotten. A lot of moms, myself included, are wanting to go back to these traditional ways but have no idea where to begin. Resources like Nourishing Our Children and Sally’s books have become the new “village wisdom” for the younger generations. As a young mom, I believe that raising my family in this traditional way is one of the best gifts I can give my kids.
Hello, I would love to enter the giveaway for Nourshing our Children. I own Nourshing Traditions and it’s a wonderful book. I’ve been eating according to its suggestions my whole pregnancy and I feel wonderful! I am excited to raise my son right on whole, nourishing foods!
I don’t have X but I subscribed to the website and follow on fb and followed on IG under my business account Arroyo Sage :).
i would love to have a copy of this book again. I bought a copy when my adult kids were still at home. Now that I have young littles again I’d love to read it again. Although I don’t agree with some of the political aspects of the WAPF nowadays these older books are still a treasure trove of information.
Hi, I came upon the Weston A. Price foundation during my pregnancy last year and have been listening to the podcasts ever since! I don’t have X or I would subscribe- I had subscribed on all other platforms. I hope to win this book as I now have a three month old and am really trying to apply all the Wise Traditions principles for myself. I don’t have this book, but have the first book by Sally and loooove it. Thank you for all y’all do!
I would like be entered to win the giveaway. I own other Nourishing Traditions books and have young children. This would be very helpful to learn even more. I think I followed all the step. Thanks!
I would love to be entered for the contest. However, Facebook is my only social media outlet. You have another follower for the page, though!
I have been a member of the Weston A Price Foundation for several years now and I absolutely love Hilda and the Wise Traditions podcast, as well. Because of the education and resources from the founders, supporters, and like-minded community, I am healthier than ever. So, healthy that we’re expecting a baby next year! Also, I’m loving the BirthRight supplements. 😇
I’m a big believer in what is shared through this community and I continually try to share this wealth of knowledge with others who seek healthier habits.
Please consider!
Wonderful words to read! Thank you for your comment and entry into our giveaway! I wanted you to know that Sally Fallon Morell has reviewed the BirthRight’s Bloom Prenatal Supplement and they include powdered colostrum which she doesn’t recommend and says there is no reason to include. As such we don’t recommend it ourselves.
Oh, interesting! I will look more into this. Thank you for making me aware.
I love the Nourishing Traditions cookbook. It is a wealth of knowledge! As a mother of 3, one of whom is a 3 month old, I would love to add this book to my collection of books to help nourish my children.
I used your blog to start solids with my first baby, and I’m so thankful for resources available! I have the nourishing traditions book and would love to get this one as well! I am already subscribed to emails and follow on IG, but I don’t have other accounts. Would love to win this awesome giveaway to nourish my baby!
I followed on Facebook and Instagram but do not have X. I would love this book to educate myself and my family! My husband would also love to use it in his practice to help educate his patients and their parents. After reading it, we’d lend it out to people who could use the information to have better nourished children and families. This information is so helpful and practical that we want to get it into as many hands as possible!
I am almost 3 months postpartum with my first child. I have the nourishing traditions book and love it! I love thats theres a version focused on children and want to be able to take care of my little guy as holistically as possible, with food as medicine first. And be able to offer sound advise to other moms.
I have been navigating why my 1.5 year old is still waking multiple times during the night. All my research on sleep brought me here! I’m pretty certain my child is waking because he’s hungry. My milk recently dried up so I’m looking for ways to provide more nutrient dense foods for not only him, but our whole family! Looking forward to learning more :)
I would like to recieve this book because I have 5 children under the age of twelve. Most of them have gut issues. I am hopeful to get my 1 year old on a better track so that she has a better start than the other kids, and I hope to improve the gut health of my other kids too. I get overwhelmed with all the information on the internet and can’t afford vitamins for everyone consistently with how large our family is. Thank you so much for this opportunity.
I love my nourishing traditions by Sally Fallon and would love to add to my collection as I study and prepare for a future family
I started incorporating Nourishing Traditions principles after my first pregnancy and have noticed a huge difference in jaw development and overall health between my firstborn and subsequent kids. Raw dairy, fermented foods, homemade broth, cod liver oil have become everyday foods for me!
We’re (God willing) not done having kids and want to nourish them as well as possible! I eat up (literally) all the information provided by WAPF, I would love to add this book to my collection.
Also my birthday’s in a few days so it’d be a fun birthday gift :)
Also my name’s Rebekah, not sure why I was given that username! Haha
So excited to come across this blog post! I do not have any of the nourishing traditions books, although I have had them on my wish list for years! We are health minded and I am always trying to strengthen my arsenal of knowledge and actions to help give my kids the best attempt at life.
I would love to receive The Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care because I truly believe that nutrition and natural approaches to parenting form the foundation of lifelong health. As a parent, I’m always looking for guidance rooted in traditional wisdom rather than modern shortcuts. This book seems like a beautiful blend of science and ancestral knowledge that could help me support my children’s growth more intentionally. I’m subscribed to the blog and would be so grateful to learn from this resource!
I don’t have twitter but I have all the other social medias! I’d love to win this giveaway because my first child is on the way. I’ve been listening to the Wise Traditions podcast for 5 years now, researching how to prep my body for pregnancy and nourish not only myself but my loved ones too. Little ones are a different story and I know this book would be a huge help for me as I embark on my motherhood journey!
I forgot to mention that I’ve been referencing two other Nourishing Traditions books for a couple years now in have the original Nourishing Traditions book as well as the Nourishing Broth book. I love them both and have recommended them to many friends and family!
I would love to receive the Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care as I’m currently pregnant and also raising a toddler. My toddler went through a long phase of very picky eating and is finally eating meat again! I’m sure there’s some knowledge that I could gain for him and the next baby that may help prevent that in the future. And, my son’s name is Weston! We love the Weston A. Price Foundation and Nourishing Our Children!
I’m not sure why this posted as my business name, but my name is Shelby Rowe.
I subscribed on Facebook and Instagram, but I don’t have an X account.
I would love a copy of this book because I have my first newborn at home whom I want to raise in a Nourishing way. My Mom raised me on principles taught by Weston A Price and I want to do the same for my children, and this comprehensive guide would be very helpful for giving me a better/deeper education of how to do so (and so I won’t have to keep calling my Mom for advice anymore, I will know what to do on my own). Thank you!!
Congratulations! You were randomly chosen to receive the book! Email was sent.
I would love to receive the Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care. I have just had my 4th child and would really like to nourish him better than I did with my first 3. He is 11yrs younger than his youngest sibling and I realize now how poorly conventional advice nourishes our bodies. I have been looking for an alternative guide for nouishing my baby. I have the original Nourishing traditions book and use it regularly to make bone broth and homemade yogurt so I know that the Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby & Child Care would be very helpful.
Thank you
I only have Instagram but follow you there and subscribed to the blog!
I am a toddler mom and doula who is always recommending these resources to those just beginning to introduce solids who have a desire for their children to have strong nutrition! Viva la bone marrow, egg yolks, and sauerkraut
My life changed completely the day I was in a friends kitchen and my eyes locked in on the book, “Nourishing Traditions”. At that time I was still duped into believing a “low-fat” diet was the golden ticket to optimal health. As such, I thought N.T. was a book about “comfort foods” like stews, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and such. I couldn’t have been more wrong. As I began perusing the introduction something took me over instantly and completely. My life has not been the same since. I am blessed with a well-worn paperback copy and also a pristine hardcover personally signed by Sally. Now I consider myself a true bone broth babe and fabulous fermenter! As a life-long learner it would be a true blessing to receive the book of Baby and Child Care. It’s even more relevant now that I have two grown sons who (I pray) one day will become parents themselves. It would bring me immense joy to share such timeless wisdom on behalf of my possible future grandchildren.
I followed on Facebook and Instagram and subscribed, but don’t have twitter. I would love this book because I didn’t grow up eating the way Weston a price foundation recommends. I would love for my children to be nourished in this way. I have some recipes all over the place in social media and it would be great to have something in one place that I can refer back to and be able to find the recipes I’m looking for. Also, would love to share this book with my friends and family also! Thank you for doing this giveaway!
I would love to receive this book because I think it’ll be a great resources to teach myself and my children how to eat the traditional way. As someone who had to relearn fat is actually needed for our health, I think this book is a great resource to have. As of the moment, I cannot afford to purchase this book even if I don’t win this giveaway, I’d like to purchase this book for my collection.
